“There's so
much pollution in the air now
that if it weren't for our lungs there'd be no place to put it all.”
~Robert Orben
Know what these are? Well, I knew they are big balloon type men that jump around because of an air compressor. They are put in front of businesses as an aye catching advertisement. But I found out their name is Air Dancers. Ella always loves seeing these, and asks us to turn around and go back for another look. She calls them Jack-In-The -Boxes. Just a puff of air makes her laugh and laugh.
“I wonder why you care, God— why do
you bother with us at all? All we are is a puff of air; we’re like shadows in a campfire.”
Psalm 144

I love these photos! Ginny, I hate to admit it, but I'm so off my stride that I missed Ground Hog Day :-). Hopefully things will settle down soon. I hope your week is off to a good start. Have a great day. Blessings...Mary

I have crossed your path many times in comment sections but never tracked you down. I am here visiting now via your interview with Ann.
I am so glad too because you are going right on my blog roll.
I always wonder how God manages to keep on keeping on with all of us. Wow, to even begin to imagine His level of patience, love and tolerance is beyond anything I can do!
I am so glad He can and He does!
Happy day!

Hi Ginny.
I came from Ann's blog. Those air dancer made me laugh too.
You have a knack for finding extraordinary things...
I never knew they were called air dancers. We have one that is pink on our way in to town - the boys always get a kick out of it. You have found a lot of them to photograph!
God probalby bothers because air is one of the most important elements of life. We just need it for everything.
Greetings,
Filip
I haven't seen one of those since I left VA although I'm sure they are in places closer to the cities. Out here, there is woods and water, trees and rivers, pines and lakes, ponds and narrow, windy, hilly roads...I love it!...:)JP
I love the name Air Dancers...didn't know what they were called.
Air dancers, I like that name. Congrats to your winner
Thanks so much, Ginny. It's always a treat to visit here and see what you have seen.
Aren't these balloon just the funniest things? I get mesmerized by them.
Congrats to Susan! I haven't noticed any of those Air Dancers around here. We do have a lot of people standing on corners and spinning signs. I don't like it because it's so distracting to drivers.
Hope you're having a great week!
These air dancers are pretty popular in our neck of the woods as well.
Hi Ginny . . . Your blog is always inspiring. You are a very sweet lady.
