Mystery Critter

Oh goodness my, oh goodness me!
Who can this little creature be?
He just comes out at night, you know,
But once he's woken, watch him go!
Would you be scared or do you think he's sweet?
On my next post you will know and meet!
So take a guess, you may be right.
And no, this picture will not bite!

Hmmm. Looks like a chinchilla, Ginny. Fabulous soft fur. Farms raise them for their thick, soft fur. Of course, wearing furs is not very fashionable now, which is a good thing.

Of course, as with everyone before me that guessed a Chinchilla, I too say the very same. Cute picture.

Reminds ma of my Barney rabbit.... He was very cute too... But has passed on... So this one is not a rabbit?

At first I thought he was a bunny but not so. Maybe a hamster?

Ha, my boys often ask for a chinchilla! They had to settle for a hamster.

Ohhh he is sooo cute! At first I thought he was bunny, when I saw header. But he may be too round for bunny? :-) I agree with other friends and I think he is chinchilla!
Thank you for your comment. I think there are different opinions but raw is supposed to be good for kitties. Salmonella affects them so raw food makers take measures to ensure safety. I have to be very careful handling the food, too!

Looks like a baby bunny to me but then I've never seen a chinchilla (as I see many others have guessed at, so I suppose they're probably right)

Hi Ginny, I vote Chinchilla. I had a college acquaintance who raised these animals. As for me, well, I try to make due with faux fur. Have an especially nice day tomorrow!

Chinchillas are so cute. Someone turned some into the shelter one time while I was there. They look so soft.
