Hmmm. Looks like a chinchilla, Ginny. Fabulous soft fur. Farms raise them for their thick, soft fur. Of course, wearing furs is not very fashionable now, which is a good thing.

Ha, my boys often ask for a chinchilla! They had to settle for a hamster.

Thank you for your comment. I think there are different opinions but raw is supposed to be good for kitties. Salmonella affects them so raw food makers take measures to ensure safety. I have to be very careful handling the food, too!

Chinchillas are so cute. Someone turned some into the shelter one time while I was there. They look so soft.
