Harvest Moon

Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant. ~ Robert Louis Stevenson

A couple nights ago, we had a full moon. Actually, it was The Harvest Moon! So I thought it would be fun to make my header and last picture look orange like the fall harvest. I think the orange color really brings out the details!  While snapping, I thought of the words to the old song "Shine on, Harvest Moon!

“Make hay while the sun shines—that’s smart; go fishing during harvest—that’s stupid.”
Proverbs 10

Oh my, that's a gorgeous moon, quite amazing! Love that Scripture too Ginny, God's Word, certainly states things loud and clear, huh? No beating around the bush with Him!

I love your harvest moon photos! The orange color does bring out the detail. I was aware of harvest moon this time as other lovely blogger friend's birthday was on the day of harvest moon. She's got many beautiful photos, too :-)

What beautiful photos Ginny, perfect for this first day of Autumn. The orange colors does bring out all the details but my favorite is your first shot with the moon peeking out from behind the tree.

I am humming the song and I think it may be stuck in my head for awhile.

You take the most marvelous moon pictures, Ginny. Of course, it helps to have an outstanding camera. I think there is some sort of setting I need to work to get good moon pictures but I'm just not that interested in pursuing it or I would have done it a couple of years ago. Laughing at myself.
