Red Sky At Night

I often think that the night is more alive and more richly colored than the day.  ~Vincent Van Gogh

This evening's sunset was spectacular, all shades of red stripes. These are straight out of the camera, no edits.

“This is God’s Message: “If your sins are blood-red, they’ll be snow-white. If they’re red like crimson, they’ll be like wool. If you’ll willingly obey, you’ll feast like kings. That’s right. God says so.
Isaiah 1

Ginny, these are gorgeous. You always have the most awesome sunsets.

My Father-in-law was a commercial fisherman and one old fisherman saying is "Red sky at morning, sailor take warning. Red sky at night, sailor's delight" A sky like this one would mean the weatger would be good for fishing on the ocean the next day.
