The Woodland Fairy House

Come away, O human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery hand in hand,
For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand.
~William Butler Yeats, "The Stolen Child"

In between the twilight and the dawn, at the edge of the woods and another world, sits the fairies home. We returned today. And as as I looked for the flash of a wing or the echo of laughter, I saw there were none home yet. So Phil carefully stood beside it to give you an idea of the size. We touched nothing and left respectfully. Would you dare to go inside?

The Realm of Fairy is a strange shadow land, lying just beyond the fields we know.  ~Author Unknown

“Every creature in the forest is mine, the wild animals on all the mountains. I know every mountain bird by name; the scampering field mice are my friends…”
Psalm 50

This is fascinating, Ginny. Concerning your question - that would be the perfect place to find them. They come packed 2 cans for $14.99. I hope all is well. Blessings...Mary

Ginny: I answered your question about the wok on my blog. I recently realized that's what I should be doing. Just in case: The Peking pan is like a wok (to me) with a flat bottom. A wok has kind of a conical bottom.

Now, you and Phil have finally stumped me. I have no point of reference to know where the fairy house is located. Nary a building or mountain in sight. Love it!
How did you come upon it?

Best,
Bonnie

Wow fairy house! What an interesting sight it is! The house kind of reminded me of Hobbit's house. Not really similar but with the setting in wood and size, it popped in my head :-)

HI Ginny Well I know that fairies live in Ireland and that house is not here!! Anyway, it is much to big for Fairies. Must be Munchkins I think!! They are hte right size for it!! Have a great weekend.

Isn't that the coolest little hut? Brings much to the imagination.

Instagram is a social media site where the focus is just on posting pictures. I usually post a picture or two each day, and people can like it. The site makes it very easy to edit the pictures and do fun effects. You can comment on pictures too, but most people just scroll through and like.

What an amazing little house. I expected to see a gnome or hobbit appear at the door. I might peek inside but I would be very careful not to disturb any of the faeries. Where oh where did you find this enchanted place?

Is it made of Styrofoam? I could not have restrained myself...I would have had to at least peak in and if not wasps nests, I would have been inside!
