Turkey Flowers And A Catkin

On Saturday evening, we had Anne Marie all to ourselves for six hours. So I got a couple pumpkins and some silk flowers and craft things, and she made our fall decorations. She decided to draw a cat pumpkin, which I call a Catkin. and she also made these turkey flowers. They are very easy, you just cut off half the petals and make a small turkey face.

“God spoke to Moses: “See what I’ve done; I’ve personally chosen Bezalel son of Uri, son of Hur of the tribe of Judah. I’ve filled him with the Spirit of God, giving him skill and know-how and expertise in every kind of craft to create designs and work in gold, silver, and bronze; to cut and set gemstones; to carve wood—he’s an all-around craftsman.”
Exodus 31

The turkey flowers and the cat pumpkin are all so cute. Anne Marie is very talented. I'm pretty sure I couldn't make either look that good especially the cat face.

Oh...great goodness.....this is so cute.
I love watching children use their artistic skills. It allows them to use their imagination!!
I personally think kids need more to time to be artistic!!
