How clever! I remember making those as a child out of multi colored craft paper. We would hang them all around the edge of the ceiling and add balloons.
Ginny, the paper chain is a very clever idea. We used to do that in school but I never thought of doing it for the Christmas tree. Interesting...hope I can remember this for this year's Christmas.
HI Ginny How very creative. Now wouldn't it fun to use only 1 book's print and have everyone try to work our what book the chains were from.
I haven't seen one of these since I was a kid!!! Great "news", for sure!...:)JP
That is a pretty tree. I remember making the paper chains out of construction paper when we were in school. Ours never looked quite so pretty hanging on anything though :)
Now that is a clever idea! We used to do those paper chains out of colorful shiny paper when the boys were little.
Best,
Bonnie
the tree looks great and that chains is perfect. all the links are exactly the same. i once did a 4 foot tree in my kitchen with all home made ornaments. the chains i made out of magazines were big links, little links, a real mess not perfect. i love glittering dangling ornaments.
Her chain links are so wonderfully neat and even! It seems perfect for that tree!
I love the print chains. Very clever.
Wonderful idea, Ginny. Lovely photos.
That is a wonderful way to recycle old books.
Happy New Year Ginny
Wow....lovely paper chain. Next year...i mean this year i might just try this
I remember those chains....as a kid, we always looked forward to making these in class each Christmas. The school tree was the most beautiful of all...
Thanks for the memories...

That sure is a news. It would have been cool if she could use newspaper for newspaper office tree. But she found great alternative! At school, I made this kind of paper chain a lot. It's been a while since I saw it :-)
That is very original and definitely a conversational piece of art for the tree.
Happy New Year Dear Ginny.
xoxo Catherine
