Ready For Love

It is almost Valentine's Day, but I have been ready for over a month now. So today I'm taking you on a tour of the Valentine decorations around our house. This sparkly heart is on the living room wall. Can you believe I got it at Kroger for about three dollars?

These wooden hearts are on our front door.

Here is my kitchen table centerpiece. I found this heart shaped basket and wove red ribbon around it. Then I filled with with napkins, a bear, and roses. I like the way it looks in black and white, too.

I got this little tray for under five dollars and put a red candle and candy dish on it.

I got the votive holder at the Dollar Store.

I got this flameless candle at the dollar store and put it on a red paper doily with the votive holder

Believe it or not, these are only a few of the things I have sitting around! I guess I'm just a fool for love. Happy Valentines Day to each if you!!

“Let me give you a new command: Love one another. In the same way I loved you, you love one another. This is how everyone will recognize that you are my disciples—when they see the love you have for each other.”

Valentine's Day is not really all that big over here... I have no special decorations up at all - not expecting any special Valentine knight in shining armour to come knocking on my door. I still have my red-and-white curtains up in the kitchen though.
