On Friday we took a short trip and did something we had never done before. Can you guess what it was by looking at these pictures?

Did you shear a sheep? :)
looks like fun and educational at the same time!
What a fun activity. That's something I have never done.'Thank you for your kind words on my blog.
It's been a difficult week. My husband's brother isn't expected to live too much longer. We have been to see him and spend some time to say our good byes. So grateful he knows the Lord and knows where he is going.
look like shear cheap and be back in the time (see pots)
Looks like a lot of fun
I hadn't a clue but from reading the other comments shearing sheep sounds right. Can't wait to hear more about this
I think someone is sheering sheep. I LOVE THAT HEADER SHOT. I love the sticks, i love he stones, i love the fire under the pots, i love the hanging pots... but from the looks of that little girl I would not love what ever he has on the stick. maybe it smelled?
Shearing sheep? Looks like you had a great day to be outdoors. Wishing you a nice Sunday.
I agree--sheep shearing and boiling the wool.
Fun!
Best,
Bonnie
I just can't wait to see more...looks interesting.
Looks like shearing the wool? hahaha..forgive me if I am wrong! Sorry for not coming by for the past week, I was away to Adelaide and I came home only today.... lots of cleaning up to do as usual.. Hope you had a great time with the kids, Ginny!
What's cooking in the pots?
Ginny, did you and family went sheep shearing? Looks like fun! Did you all enjoy your trip?
Was those from a sheep? Wonderful and adorable pictures:)
Sheep, but what was in the pot's?
Sheep sheering? Are those pots used to wash the wool before spinning? Can't wait for the next post.
Did you shear a sheep?
It looks like sheep 'fur'....I'm itching. It's full of lanolin. Itchy stuff.
How fun and what an experience.
Ginny, thanks for visiting my bird blog too.
Hi Ginny! I am coming over from Joy's blog.
I have no idea what that is...I am guessing sheep too, only because I have no idea! LOL! I guess I'm too much of a city gal.
Sure looks nice and green where you are :)
Nice to meet you!
Ceil
Looks like a sheep might have been sheared.
sheep shearing?
am thinking sama as the rest too....sheep shearing.
My first thought was shearing sheep. Then I see everyone else has the same thought. Are we right? teehee! Probably not.
It's amazing how fast someone who knows what they are doing can shear a sheep! I'm not sure what the pots are for but I'm going to guess the wool is going to be washed and perhaps dyed. Fascinating!
I think it's sheep shearing, too!
Looks a little sheepish.
If I had to guess I would say you saw a sheep shearing at some historical restoration.
You sheared a sheep! I'm so impressed!! I've watched sheep get sheared and think it's so interesting that once the sheep is on its butt, it stops fighting. It's just amazing!
how fun! where was this?
