This weekend we celebrated our son Mike's 46th birthday. Here we are, mom and son!
The restaurant we all went to had cows on the wall and milk bottle lights.
Here we all are! But if you look closely, SOMEONE is goofing off...
There, now that's better. That's me in the front, Phil taking the picture
Back home, gymnastics were in order to work off the calories.
Everyone had fun with little paper crowns!
Though Mike is now middle aged, I will always think of him like this!
They say that age is all in your mind. The trick is keeping
it from creeping down into your body.

Glad you were able to have a fun time celebrating the birthday.
I see you used a new photo for your header, cows and then it appears in the post. Yes our children remain at all sorts of stages in our mind. Looks like all had a great time.
Marvellous pictures of the celebration. I love the last line you wrote. If Only!!!
Happy belated birthday to Mike. Looks like everyone had a fun time. I agree with that last statement about age.
I wish Mike many more birthdays and this looks like a really happy one to me. I LOVE THOSE MILK BOTTLE LIGHTS. really I do... the cows are fantastic... wow, I would not be able to eat for staring at the walls and lights. fond memories created here
So happy to see you and your family like this! It is true, no matter how old our kids are, they are still Kids.. Kids in our eyes! Your grandkids are so adorable too, the house is filled with joyful noise... Marie is really good in her gymnastics!
Nothing better than family gatherings for such special occasion. Best wishes to your son for many more blessed days. Love the restaurant with the milk bottles.
I knw what you mean Ginny, mine are 46, 50 and 52 and I still can't believe that they are grown middle aged people.
Your son has your lovely smile.

Happy birthday to your son! Looks like you all had a great time together. Love that goofing-off picture :-) The milk bottle lights are very pretty!
Oh yes, no matter how old they grow, kids are always kids for parents :-)
Always seemed to me that middle age is something that we first keep on pushing forward for as long as possible - and then hold on to, as we find ourselves growing older still... :)
Happy birthday Mike!! The girls are all so beautiful! You are truly blessed to have such a lovely family, Ginny.
Happy Birthday to your son! My baby boy turned 20 last summer, but he will always be my little boy. :)
What a fun day and a precious family!
