The Fireworks!

I think the fireworks this year were the best ever! First, here are the ones we set off in the front yard.

These are the ones the city set off the next night. We got so close that we could hear them sizzle as they burned up. It sounded like frying ham!

“From the dazzle of Zion, God blazes into view. Our God makes his entrance, he’s not shy in his coming. Starbursts of fireworks precede him.”

Psalm 50

They're so pretty. I love fireworks. I didn't get to watch them this year. Our little town did them on the 3rd and I had to get up early to go to work on the 4th so I missed them.

I did not see any this year. Not allowed in city limits and I do not drive at night. The ones you shared are beautiful, especially the one you used as a header.

You did a great job capturing the pretty fireworks. Not easy to do. I didn't even try this year, too many people around. Ok...the real reason is that I didn't want them to see my failure to get a good shot. Ha!

Unlit & Lit
