These are the ones the city set off the next night. We got so close that we could hear them sizzle as they burned up. It sounded like frying ham!
“From the dazzle of Zion, God blazes into view.
Our God makes his entrance, he’s not shy in his coming. Starbursts of fireworks precede him.”
Psalm 50

Gorgeous series of images Ginny
They're so pretty. I love fireworks. I didn't get to watch them this year. Our little town did them on the 3rd and I had to get up early to go to work on the 4th so I missed them.
I do believe fireworks, though very beautiful, will be a pale comparison to the glory of our great God!!
Wonderful shots, Ginny! It would be hard to pick a favorite!
truly dazzling photos of the fireworks. you did a great job of capturing them. so pretty
I can never get tired of watching fireworks. They are beautiful!
Impressive firework photos Ginny, I have never been able to take them this well.
You had beautiful fireworks both nights.
I did not see any this year. Not allowed in city limits and I do not drive at night. The ones you shared are beautiful, especially the one you used as a header.
Your photos turned out great! I could see fireworks from my apartment window this year!
I like that sizzling sound fireworks make! Your photos are amazing. I could never take good photos of fireworks:-)
How I wish I could be there to join in as a spectator.. love seeing fireworks in the dark sky!!
They look marvelous!
AMAZING!!
Some great firework pictures, not easy.
Greetings,
Filip
And ... not easy to capture, you did so well. :-)
You did a great job capturing the pretty fireworks. Not easy to do. I didn't even try this year, too many people around. Ok...the real reason is that I didn't want them to see my failure to get a good shot. Ha!
