Last week, we went to Dara's school play.
Dara was a cardinal, and her mom made the costume.
She had several speaking parts, and did very well.
There were also some raccoons.
And a cute chick.
After the show, when everyone had left, Jazz couldn't resist getting up on the stage herself.
It was an exciting evening, and time for this cardinal to go home to her nest. The early bird gets the worm, you know.

Dara looks very confident! She looks great in the beautiful costume! They are all so cute, including Jazz!
Maybe she has a future in the theater. Love her costume. The mask is adorable.
So adorable! I love it!
Very soon they will be teens, Ginny! Time flies when it comes to kids in the house! :)
Dara certainly makes a cute cardinal.
wild clapping for the costume by MOM... cutest cardinal I have ever seen. when i was her age i could not stand up front and talk like that. the shot of Ann Marie leaning on the wall, she looks like a teen ager... the girls are growing up so fast
Those costumes are fantastic! I'm sure this was a very entertaining show with so much cuteness!
I miss those days with my kids and grands - I am glad you are enjoying it. The girls are so cute.
Dara is such a cute cardinal! The costume is very pretty. She is shining brightly in the crowd! Looks like it was a great play :-)
There is a song like this I play for my great-nephew. The bear goes over the mountain to see what he can see, but all he sees is the other side of the mountain. Is this the same story?
Cute costumes, Ginny!
She is absolutely beautiful! Thanks for the friend request. Those are my grandchildren and they are my heart. I fell in the parking lot of my doctor's office after getting the stitches out from my wrist surgery and on the day before my birthday. Not a good day!
How sweet and fun! Happy Days for your girls.
