Hiding

We saw her from a distance last week. We were so far away that she did not run, but she froze.

But wait! Someone had been hiding.

And now with the protection of Mom, comes just a bit forward.

Perhaps a quick snack is not too risky.

And with mom in front of him, he is emboldened to step out just a bit further.

“You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance.”
Psalm 32

Over here we will only get to see them in the zoo, not in their natural habitat. The baby is trusting in its mom's protection.

Love these. It's always wonderful to be able to sight wildlife. Even better if they stick around a while and let you watch them

It's wonderful to see how you relate the Bible verses to your daily life. And the deer are lovely.

I miss seeing the deer around our place. Where we lived previously the Mama would come into our backyard with her babies to rest. It was a safe place since we and the next door neighbors had no pets.
Thanks for the memories.

Hello Friend,
What great photos! Well done.

Sam is joining the Wisconsin National Guard, he will be departing on September 5th. I did have a break down on Sunday, I cried and cried. I know they have to grow up and move on, but it is not easy. I know he will do well and I am so proud of him.

Thank you for the prayers,
Carla

Oh what a delightful sighting. We were up that way recently and didn't see one deer. Thank you for sharing one of my favorite animals, the baby is a darling. And I meant to mention before that I love what you did with your header. Happy day to you dear Ginny.
