Some of you have followed me since our oldest granddaughter was a baby.
Well, Anne Marie is a pre-teen now. And as a reward for being on the dean's list at school, she got teal highlights in her hair! I took these on Saturday.
I think it's really pretty, and she chose a good color. Better than getting piercings or tattoos, too!

At first, I didn't really care for all the colors some girls are using in their hair but it's growing on me and when it's just the highlights like this I do really like it. Anne Marie chose a really good color.

I love the last shot best of all, so pretty. she is a beautiful girl and I have watched her go from baby to young lady... I like where she put the color, on the tips. and it is not permanent like tatoos. I have pierced ears but am not a fan of tattoos. I said to a fried at the Y last week, this is my son Dan, showing her a phone pic, she said he is handsome, I said except for all those ugly tattoos he has been adding. she laughed and said I have FOUR... I could not see them, so I laughed and said I guess you know now I don't like tattoos...why a woman in 70s would put tattoos on just blows my min
Wow! She is one smart cookie!! And I absolutely love the teal highlights... Marissa is starting to desire colored highlights as well. Hmmmm maybe good grades would be a nice incentive. I like tattoos if they are tasteful & not covering the whole body. And ear piercing. As for her hair highlights...LOVE the color she chose!!
