When The Mists Have Rolled Away

It rained today, and the mountains had fog as usual. These are the mountains we have to go over to get to the "big city", and in rainy times it can be quite scary to cross them. As we went to the drug store and Goodwill, there were some very pretty sights.

See the Target truck in the distance?

We are on the road where the Target warehouse and the Little Debbie Factory are. Here we are passing the Target warehouse.

Someone else was watching the fog, too. While he was fishing, of course.

We shall come with joy and gladness,
We shall gather round the throne;
Face to face with those that love us,
We shall know as we are known:
And the song of our redemption
Shall resound thro' endless day,
When the shadows have departed,
And the mists have rolled away.

Is Roanoke your "big" city over the mountains?

great pictures..... I love our Target store...maybe a little too much. I do prefer Target over Walmart. Beautiful valley views..

Such a beautiful area you live in. I've never been much of a Target shopper. I've probably only been in the store a handful of times.

Such a beautiful and peaceful scenery! That looks like a huge warehouse. I usually get household items from Target :-)

You sure live in a beautiful part of the country -- fog or no fog.

Virginia country side is always beautiful. I saw the target truck in the header when it opened and wondered what it was doing out there in the country, then got to words and the sign for target and see why.....I like misty fog just not the heavy can't see hand in front of face kind.

Oh those colors are so vibrant on the road!!! Thanks for stopping by, Mom fell at her home 5 hrs away and she was brought up here by ambulance to Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City. She lives with her sister and she called the ambulance. Been a hectic few weeks.
