The Cloud

The hurricane has slowed down and changed course a bit. So now we get a break until maybe Sunday!! So I get to continue posting for awhile. One day while we were out, this huge cloud loomed. I took three pictures as it changed a bit. There was no storm, just this giant cloud.

Notice the light coming out from under the cloud here.

“Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.”  ~Rabindranath Tagore

So glad to hear that the hurricane has slowed and changed course. Hopefully it will die out before it reaches you.
That's some cloud and I love the light coming out from behind it

Beautiful sunset!

I am watching it. They said at first it would come this way. Glad to see it turn, but praying for those in its path.

Good that the hurricane went off course. Hope your area will stay safe from the hurricane. Great shot of the giant cloud.

Ginny,
Please keep me posted.
Sam called last night, they let him call home, they let all the trainees call home. Fort Jackson is 2 hours from the coast.

He called to say they will stay on base, they are safe, and in words "we have made all the preparations for survival!" Yep! My boy!

It's beautiful! I especially like the one where the sunlight is coming out from under the cloud and lighting up the edges.
