The Hay

Seems like it has rained almost every day for well over a month. The news said tonight that this has been the second most rainy year in history. And yet, the hay is still out. Through all the rain and over all this time! And I don't know why. It is pretty, I just hope it is not moldy.

Some of it is covered up. I guess those bales will fare better.

They are equally pretty at sunset.

“You water the mountains from your heavenly cisterns; earth is supplied with plenty of water. You make grass grow for the livestock, hay for the animals that plow the ground.”
Psalm 104

That's a lot of hay bales. I always like the looks of them sitting out in a field. We've had a few rainy days here and there but nothing like what you are getting.

You'd think it'd get moldy

I love sceneries with the hay. They look so lovely and peaceful. I especially love the last photo. What a pretty sunset!

I love the hay in pink - it might get moldy - but maybe it goes away once it is unrolled. Hopefully so. Very pretty. sandie

I wonder about that too. I remember the farmers used to stop everything else to get the hay in.

You always have wonderful scenes to photograph and your photos are gorgeous, peaceful! I also enjoy reading your psalms at the end of each post.

Hopefully the hay bales will be okay.

Thank you Ginny and have a great weekend :)

All this rain must be so awful for the farmers. We are supposed to get some showers on Tuesday and Wednesday. I haven't seen any rain since about March or April and very little then too.
