A Crafty Day

Guess who was in our car today?

We picked up our two youngest granddaughters for the afternoon. First we took them to the library for a fall crafting event. This dinosaur was in the hallway.

The wreath of hands was on the wall.

Then on to the business of spooky crafts.

Once back home, I fixed them a snack of chocolate graham crackers with chocolate peanut butter.

Dara played chess with grandpa, while Jazz & I worked jigsaws.  Well, I watched, as she wanted to do them all herself with no help.

“A house is never still in darkness to those who listen intently; there is a whispering in distant chambers, an unearthly hand presses the snib of the window, the latch rises. Ghosts were created when the first man woke in the night.”

I miss those days with going to school and doing crafts with the kids. Doing crafts at home with them. And doing crossword puzzles.. Those were such nice memories. You are great grandparents.
