From A Great Height

What is this man doing?

This past weekend, our city had it's annual Street Art Festival. Two old empty buildings were painted by professional painters from other cities. This sign said please do not honk! It could be a disaster to be startled from such a height.

A couple with a huge dog came by to watch.

Some strolling musicians passed by.

What exactly did they paint? I will show you the finished art on my next post. I have no explanation as to why they painted such images!

Just as a painter needs light in order to put the finishing touches to his picture, so I need an inner light, which I feel I never have enough of in the autumn.

I always wonder how they know what they are doing so close up. look forward to seeing the end result.

What a fun event. Can't wait to see what they painted. If I was way up there and someone drove by and honked I would most likely jump a foot and the paint brush would leave strokes I didn't want.

I'm always amazed how they paint beautiful images on such a huge surface. I look forward to seeing what image they painted!
I don't think we see strolling musicians very often :-)

I admire people who have the ability to paint on huge surfaces like that.

I hope we don't have to wait long for the what they painted. cliffhangers make me anxious until I know the answer. I can't imagine what they painted from looking or from your words either. bring it on quickly please... love the dog and the marchin drummers

I like that quote by Tolstoy - have to say I am a little in need of a little inner light right now! Can't wait to see what they painted.
