The Neon Tumbleweed

Years ago, we went to a Dale Chihuly exhibit. This was one of his creations. He calls it Neon Tumbleweed.

I would watch the clouds mass at the mountaintops. Rolling like tumbleweed down the slopes, they would fatten as they came.

Interesting. The colors are beautiful.

I like art of any kind. Sometimes, like Picasso's works, there is truth without logic...this too has that depiction.

I guess he is right - even though neon is light you need help to see it - everything and everyone needs some help!

I really love Chihuly's work. Its so vibrant and creative.
This neon tumbleweed sort of looks like our life right now...very discombobulated.....
But God....
Just received word that our friends daughter has run away...Its really crazy because she was scheduled to begin her military career in basic training next month. Her parents are devastated...Prayers appreciated.

Amazing photos Ginny, what a great exhibit. I have been a fan of Dale Chihuly ever since I saw my first piece of his years ago. This one is very striking, beautiful, and your quote was perfect.
