Finally!

Finally, Daylight Savings Time is here; a return of the light!! We lose an hour of time, but it is well worth it to me. How many of you look forward to it, too?

“Sometimes I feel that life is passing me by, not slowly either, but with ropes of steam and spark-spattered wheels and a hoarse roar of power or terror. It's passing, yet I'm the one who's doing all the moving. I'm not the station, I'm not the stop: I'm the train. I'm the train.”

Time seems to fly too quickly and I feel that I am not doing much with the time I have.

This is funny - I set my clocks about an hour ago - BEHIND an hour - took a cap nap - realized I should have sent them forward - so now I lost two hours! lol

Thing is, the sun is still there and rises and sets, no matter. It's all about the clock. It dictates what we do.

this time change is horrid for us early birds. I just said to bob, we always walk Big at 6:30 or 6:40 now we will have to wait until 7:30, because it will not get light until then, this means we are walking in the traffic of people going to work. we don't mind losing the hours but we despise the fact we were driving home from the Y in breaking daylight and now it will be dark. we have to come in and wait an hour before we can walk the dog. I see what Annie said and that is true, same amount of daylight, it is the clock that makes the difference. even though Florida voted to stop changing the time back and forth, the federal govt says no, we can't.

Yes, I also feel as the train that is running down a track at full speed. I am looking forward to camping and longer days.

Yes Time does seem to be zooming by at break neck speed.
How did I get to be so Old??
I do absolutely love the lighter evenings. I just wish they would leave it that way. I dislike turning all the clocks back and forth!

I am not a big fan of it...I can live with it, but would prefer not to.

I'm the train!

Well, that puts things in perspective, doesn't it?

Thanks for your comment on the video I posted. He's Russian.

I am not a fan Ginny. I would like to pick one time and just leave it alone.. it drives me batty changing the clocks. And I get crabby loosing my hour of sleep.
Ha Ha Ha!

I'm not really crazy about it. Not only do I hate losing the hour of sleep but I go to bed early and I hate going to bed when it's still light out.

To me it's six of one and half a dozen of the other. Either we have the daylight in the morning or in the evening . I just wish it would stay one way all year round.

I like it’s still bright outside when I come home from work. And it seems easier for my kitties to adjust to earlier meal time. They are not very happy to get their meals late when we fall back :-)

I always enjoy the lighter mornings, good for those who have to travel to work. This reminds me I need to go change my old clocks.
