Ride Part 2 - The Flowers

Here are the flowers we saw on our ride. First, fields of Grape Hyacinth.

Wild violets are everywhere!

And at Lowe's, sweet Pansies. It's always fun to take a spin through their parking lot and see what flowers they have outside.

Even the pansies, with their dewy eyes, are ready to rival the violets now....

Oh Ginny, how stunningly beautiful. All that purple! And pansies... one of my absolute favorites! Here in Indiana we're a bit behind you folks as far as our spring flowers & such... but I noticed, when I filled my bird feeders yesterday, that my lilac bushes are starting to blossom a little bit. It's so comforting to know that spring is marching forward, isn't it. Love~ Andrea XOXO

Pansies were one of my dad's favorite flowers. I,always think of him when I see them. I wish they'd bloom all spring AND summer.

Beautiful. I lovepansies. Here nothing is out. Rainy and cool. All are asked to stay in homes so it is very quiet.

Wish I lived near and join you on the outings. I do not drive anymore, so I am limited to seeing nature at her best. Thanks for sharing.
