Just Grand

I miss our grandchildren. Right now, all we get is the occasional wave at the door or in the yard. But it is for all of our own good, and our good health. This was snapped a few years ago by our daughter-in-law.

This is from last week.

And these are from oh so long ago.

Grandma always made you feel she had been waiting to see just you all day and now the day was complete.

We all miss our love ones especially when they are staying apart from us. Your grand children have grown so much especially Anne Marie.

Awwwww..... what beautiful pictures, Ginny. Your header picture too is so gorgeous!!

I'm guessing you don't feel quite comfortable with visiting while everyone wears a mask? I believe you would be safe to have "driveway picnics" like I do, with my kids & grands, if all of you wore a mask. But if you're not comfortable doing that, then you shouldn't. I understand your hesitation, for sure.

Love, Andrea xoxo

Love the pictures. They've grown so much. I know how hard it must be to not be spending time with them.

Lovely photos. I understand you miss seeing them properly. But at least they aren't that far away? ... One of the comments above makes me wonder how on earth to have a picnic with a mask on. (Drinking through a straw, possibly - but eating??) ...

Are you can't see your beautiful girls and I know it's heartbreaking. Hope this thing will get under control so that she can once again play with them and love on them. That first photo looks like it could be in an ad for going to the beach for vacation and I do love the current one and can't believe that Anne Marie is now young lady

Hopefully you will soon be able to be with your granddaughters again. They are adorable (and growing so fast!).

You must miss their hugs so much. Who would have thought we would have to deal with something like this pandemic in our lifetimes. I hope it will soon be over and that the hugs will be the best ever when you can see them again.

Precious memories and photos.
It's so hard to not be really with family when you are at risk.
Hang in there...
Wonder what the new normal will be like.

Such wonderful photos of your beautiful granddaughters! It’s really hard not to be able to see family in person. I hope things will get better and you will be able to see them like before.

Precious memories of even more precious girls! I know exactly how you feel except, we have been able to see our five grandchildren throughout this time. It's been wonderful. May you soon have some one-on-one time with these adorable children. xoxo

The girls are adorable, and that diaper photo gave me a much needed chuckle.
Hopefully things will get better before all the grands and great-grands get too much older. I miss not being able to hug or cuddle them, but am grateful for social distance deck visits by my daughter's pool, and that I was allowed to hold my new great-grandson for a couple of seconds while he was bundled in a sheet so as not to have any skin contact, and I was wearing a mask.
