Many signs will be on corners to advertise. I especially liked this sign in our neighborhood.

Yard Sales
Around here, yard sales are HUGE! Usually on a Thursday or Friday evening, we will see people putting their wares outside on tables, getting ready. Then, very early in the morning, loads of people begin driving through the neighborhoods looking to shop. On some streets, you can't even find a place to park. By noon most are over.

I especially like that last one!
Love it all!! I used to go to garage sales as they are called here. Not many any more.....
It's a "big thing" here, too.
Yard sale sounds interesting. We don't have such sale in our community but occasionally some organization will hold some sort of charity sales. I like your blog header and the last sign. Ha ha...
I wish to have yard sales here, too! I think I would love them☺
Love the signs. I haven't been to a yard sale in a long time.
I love those yard sale signs!
Here in Florida yard sales are every weekend all year long because of the weather and there's even more in the winter because we have the winter visitors to buy all the junk that the residents don't want. But I have not seen a single yard sale since the virus lockdown started the 1st of March
I truly love those two houses in the first photo the red brick ones
"The World's Longest Yard Sale" (it goes through six states) will be in our area next weekend. Traffic will be a nightmare.
Oh my gosh - I love both of those signs. Did you stop by? Did you buy anything?
That top pic, isn't now, is it? Must be pre Wuhan Virus Pandemic.
Never went to any of these various kinds of events.
I never collected. I never wanted to get someone else's stuff. ~smile~
And with age, got rid of much stuff we still had.
but that's just me. I know, many people really enjoy these things.
Welcome Late Summer

I used to go to yard sales all the time. Now I just go to estate sales when I see them. Not for the stuff necessarily but my nosey self always wants to see inside other peoples houses!
Interesting ! In my town/city people are not allowed to put up yard sale sign, but we do have lots of these sales around.
Clever advertising..I'm sure they got plenty of business.
Where we used to live, yard sales were big and there were treasures galore.
Here, not so much and since the CA statewide shutdown, nothing much is happening.
I have so many goodies I would love to sell..hopefully we can before the rains and wintery times happen.
Sue
In our case it would be wife is making husband sell stuff...
