In The Air Tonight

This evening the sky was clear, and the moon was in a line with Venus and Jupiter. I tried to get a shot.

Too distant! My hands shook in the next shot, resulting in many moons.

Stll a bit of a shake, but you can see the crescent moon, and the entire moon in shadow. Kind of cool.

Night is black silk studded with the sequin-glint of stars. It is ebon atmosphere and phosphor-green planets; it is the stillness of dead space and the immensity of unreached dimension.

Isn't it amazing how God can turn all things (a shaky photo) into a work of art...I wouldn't have been able to capture that photo even if I was trying.

Wow you did a great job of photographing that.
I looks like an Oreo cookie or maybe a whoopie pie to me. :)

I just love seeing the moon shine at night, and how its different positions create a different light in the sky. It is fascinating to see! Beautiful quote from RD Lawrence, how great it is to look up into the sky and see the beauty there. Many blessings to you!

Ooooo, those are lovely, Ginny. I love to see the moon out when I'm driving at night. That second one where your hand is shaking is actually my favorite. That is something else! That could be used as a Wordless Wednesday photo haha.

Nice shot of the moon in line with Jupiter and Venus.
That last picture reminds me of a mallomar.
