The church has a vibrant colour in decoration
Wow, it looks beautiful.

To answer your question on my blog...the difference is the Wall and statues are permanent Memorials in Washington DC all around the area where the monuments are located. Built of Granite and forever there.
The traveling Wall is just that.
Its like a traveling museum. The panels of the 493 foot Wall are assembled at each site the Wall travels to through out the USA.
There are displays put up at each site also and Vietnam Veterans are there to give tours, help people find their love ones names and answer any questions visitors may have.
Its a place of honor to say thank you to those who served.
I hope that answers your questions

Hi Ginny,
Thank you for sharing. It is something that helps one get into the story. Happy Holy week to you.
Love, Carla
Those decorations are lovely. They really set the mood for Palm Sunday.
I just love Purple during the lent season. The wooden Cross with the Purple fabric draping and the crown of thorns is very special. And all the shades of Purple are beautiful. Happy Easter week to you, Ginny.
