A Lovely Attic Terrace.

A couple blocks away, we came upon this.

It sure looked to me like they are building a terrace outside the attic!

But I guess that is ridiculous. Phil said they are putting a new roof on. But I have never seen such a wooden contraption for roofing. I am used to seeing metal scaffolding. Whatcha' think?

I'm not afraid of heights, but the idea of falling from them, well, that I'm afraid of.

I've never seen anyone using something like that do roofing either. With those suits the first thing I thought of was exterminators.

this is all new to me, and never seen anyone in white roofing. maybe they are spraying something on the roof? like insulations and also we don't have steep roofs here. maybe this is the safe way to roof a steep roofs. let us know if you find out anything.

I've never seen anything like that either. Looks nice and sturdy though! I'm wondering about the suits too. You'll have to report back when it's done!

Looks like a lot safer way to do a roof!

Maybe there is some asbestos in the attic that they are having to remove. Looks more like some kind of cleaning outfit and supplies. I'm guessing this safest way to do whatever it is that they are doing.

This is so interesting. It will be interesting to watch them roofing the house.

I watch this YouTube show about a man who is building his own home in Alaska. He rented a cherry-picker with this exact same platform. I hadn't seen one before either. They used to be bring all their building supplies up on the top floor.

That is an interesting way to work on the roof or whatever they are doing! I am like you - I do not like heights, at all! You never know what you will see in the neighborhood :)

It does look solid and safe. I'm still glad I don't have to do work like that!
