Inside Out

We have been stuck in the house for quite awhile because of being snowed and iced in. And it is to be THREE degrees tonight! I took these photos through the windows last night, as I was not able to get outside to see the whole sunset.

Our next-door neighbor, who is just a few steps away.

If you want to see what the entire sunset looked like, this photo was posted on Facebook by a friend.

Phil finally dug out the car and we went to the grocery store to stock up before the next snow Friday night. I snapped these from the car.

Those are beautiful pictures, but that's too much snow! Stay safe and warm. ❤️

I am glad you got out. We did too today. Your sunset photos are gorgeous and enjoyed your others too. It’s turning bitterly cold. As we had a problem with pipes freezing in the last cold snap like this, we were advised to leave one of our taps on a very, very slow drip if we had anything like it again. That’s what we have done tonight.

3 degrees take my breathe away just thinking of it, and 16 is the coldest I have ever seen myself and hope never to see again. yesterday it was 51 degrees and as I walked into Publix, wrapped like a mummy, I encountered a lady of my age, dressed in a red winter coat, a red scarf, a red squishy hat jammed on her head, walking with a cane and shivering. I said Brrrrr, maybe we should move to Florida and she went in the store cackling like a hen with laughter... we in Florida freeze if the temps go below 59, ha ha.. stay safe, and prayers the power stays with lots of heat for you. the photos through the window are pretty

Currently 18F here in Ohio and supposed to be down to 2 tonight. And more snow. Not my SoCal weather...
Beautiful photos.

Those sunset photos are so pretty!
We are in West Michigan and it's 16 degrees this morning. Because we're pretty close to the lake, we get a lot of lake effect snow, but it does help keep the temps up just a bit. We do hit 0 and below occasionally, but not often.
Stay warm Ginny!

Oh ginny....that is a lot of snow and 3 degrees is VERY COLD. I am not going to complain about our 28 degrees weather. Our schools were all out today for bad weather, and so far, we have only had rain. Texas is notorious for being in a panic mode with just the mention of snow and ice. Stay warm and stay inside so that you all do not get sick. Gorgeous pictures..
