Here are more of the C.D.'s that people hang in their gardens to scare the birds away. They are so pretty when the sun shines on them.
But crows love shiny things! So how would this ever keep them away?
The coneflowers are in bloom now. And some of the ones here are such a deep beautiful color! Coneflower sways in dusky light, A crown o...

Yes, I tried putting up CDS on my kitchen windows before, it helps to keep the birds away from sitting on the window grills and I had to clean up their "poo" after that... hahaha...
The reflections shining these rainbow colours are fabulous
How pretty they look with the sun shining on them.
What a good way to repurpose old CD's!
Funny - I am trying to get birds to come and they are trying to keep the birds away. lol
We encourage the birds instead of trying to scare them away. They are pretty when the sun hits them.
My friend Charles uses CD's to chase deer out of his garden. It sorta kinda works. Hee Hee!
Pretty when the suns on them.
Those CD's are a neat idea to keep the woodpeckers away. I have used a shiny ribbon myself, and not sure if it does any good. They still seem to keep pecking away at my house! I love the "shine" quote. That's a good one. Have a pleasant Sunday, Ginny, and a good week ahead.

**the tiny pink house is a storage at the eatery I go to sometime. This is where I order my favorite corn dogs and pastrami sandwiches. The whole building is Pink, and to the side of the building is a small storage shed.
No, I didn't teach my son how to cook. He has always been interested in culinary arts and loves to cook from time to time. He's worked with food at his jobs through the years, and our family loves good food haha. Thanks for popping in Ginny. It's always so good to see you there. I've been waiting for the Easter stuff to come out at Dollar General!
What a clever, useful idea!
Very pretty! And very effective I’m sure.
They do look so pretty!
This is such a great idea. I don't have a garden but this is very clever. I sure wish it would keep the squirrels away from my hanging lights...lol
I didn't know people used CD's that way. I'm going to have to see if I still have some. I wonder if hanging them on a fence would help keep the deer away? We have a deer problem. One day recently I looked out the back window and there were 6 deer eating my newest landscape. I made all kinds of noise trying to get them to leave. It took some doing. About a month ago, I saw a large Buck up on my deck inches from the backdoor. It showed up on my ring doorbell.
I've never heard of doing that.
What a good way to repurpose old CDs.
