We went for my cardiac checkup today. I told her I have been having a lot of problems with being short of breath.
She ordered a stress test. Since I'm unable to do the treadmill one, they will do the drug induced kind. I have had this kind twice before, and the last one did not go well. They had to give me a reversal. So this is how nervous I am.
The test is Wednesday! Wow, they don't waste any time. So I'm not sure when I will be posting again in the next few days. They said I would feel pretty bad afterward. But I will try to give you a quick update afterward!

I'm sorry you have to do this. I'll be praying that it goes well and they can figure out what is causing the shortness of breath.
Hope all works out well. Lifting others up is a noble move
That sounds scary (the test). I wonder why they have to put you through that to figure out why you are short of breath instead of just doing an EKG and echocardiogram.
Praying the test is not as bad as they are telling you to expect, and that there will be answers and solutions.
P.S. Love the picture of the squirrel.
Prayers and hugs. I hope the test isn't too bad. ❤️
Ever so sorry about this Ginny. With all that, you thought to give your friends a smile with these cute but very meaningful pictures. Thank you for your kind heart my friend and sending a big hug and a prayer for Wednesday xox

I'm so sorry to hear this. I didn't realize there was a drug induced stress test. I'll be thinking of you and praying that all goes well.

Thankful for the precaution of getting the test done, but praying you have no bad reactions to the test itself. Prayers for you Ginny...Keep us updated..
Gosh that test sounds scary. Hope all goes well. Prayers for you. Have a great week (if possible).
Thinking of you and hoping/praying all goes well - and that the test will prove helpful to make you feel better in the long run.
I had not heard that stress tests given by injections were so hard on the system. I am so sorry. I will make a note and be praying for you. I hate any medical tests. I get it. Hope they find something to help you.
I will be praying Ginny!!

I got a call today. I have to call and make an appointment for a stress test myself. Luckily I will be able to walk the tread mill.
I'm so sorry to hear this, GInny, and I hope all goes well with the stress test on your next appt. I have been drinking decaf lately, just to get rid of the caffeine for a while. Love that quote at the end. Take care, Ginny, and sending you a comforting hug today. : )
