The Howling

We had pulled into the large parking lot of a shopping center.  A dog started barking at us from way on the other side of the lot. I figured he had been left in a car, and wondered how he could even see us from so far away. On the way out, he barked at us again! So we tracked him down.

And there he was, howling at us at the top of his lungs. Totally upset. I like the effect of the one ear back.

And then we found out why all the fuss. This must be a mom with her two pups!

But wait, there's more! THREE pups!!

By now they were all going totally berserk, and we felt it best to make a quick retreat.

You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks.

Winston Churchill

“Dogs feel very strongly that they should always go with you in the car, in case the need should arise for them to bark violently at nothing right in your ear.“

looks like they did what my son and his wife did with their second set of puppies, could not stand to sell/give them away and kept them. they are so cute

What a bunch of cuties they are. Looks like they could easily wiggle through that window though if they really wanted to get out.

Excellent photos though I HATE when people do this. Even with the window open, it can get tooooo hot in there.

Love the Dave Berry quote.
That must have been quite some racquet coming from those pups. Too funny

Wonder why someone would leave all those dogs in the car!!
Was wondering how your stress test went.

You got some great shots of all of them looking out the windows together.
Maybe they were howling for someone to come let them out?

P.S. How did your stress test go?

One should always walk away from triplet dogs. Noise is the outcome.

Oh my, that must have been a sight, four dogs barking all at once. It looks like the windows are rolled down enough so the young ones can get out. I'm glad you weren't parking too close. Barking dogs are kind of scary.
