My Lifesaver plant has bloomed all winter! It is a succulent, and named because the blooms look like Lifesavers candy.
It’s important to
keep some candy in your pocket at all times.
It could be a
lifesaver.
These photos are just from us driving around the neighborhood. We saw both lovely and also weird things. This moose head was looking at us ...

That's such an unusual flower! I love that it blooms for so long.
Beautiful, Ginny. It really does look like a lifesaver.

Beautiful and such unusual flowers! I need to find one of those!
when we were children, Daddy never left home without a pack of lifesavers in his pocket. at Christmas time we loaded him up with the year supply by buying him those little books of them
It is such a different flower. It is just fascinating!!
I have never seen a plant like this one, so thank you for highlighting it in this post, Ginny. The flowers do look like lifesavers, but not good enough to enjoy.
I remember this from before. AMAZING.
Oh my goodness, that is the most unusual plant. And the scary tree in your last post is, well, scary. It's so unusual looking.
What an unusual plant. I had never heard of them before you mentioned them.
Every time I see that plant, I am in awe. It is one of the most interesting and unusual succulents I've seen. Isn't that something that it has bloomed all winter. I would have thought it would come alive in spring and summer. Thanks for sharing this amazing plant, Ginny. Your Header photo really shows all the detail in it.

I have never seen or heard of that plant before.
That's an extraordinary plant. It looks almost like it should be in a prehistoric jungle.
