World Giraffe Day was today! This annual event, organized by the Giraffe Conservation Foundation, raises awareness about the declining giraffe population, which has decreased by nearly 30% over the past 35 years.
Here are some giraffe photos that I have taken over the years. This one stands in front of a toy store and has his outfit changed periodically
Lots of different sizes.
This one stands on the roof of a miniature golf building.
Giant chair sitters!
Tables
Penny Smashing Machine
Grace
on stilts, in golden frame,
She
walks the sky without a claim.
A
silent dream with lashes long,
In
every glance, a gentle song.

They are all adorable!
That giraffe outside the toy store sounds like a cheerful ambassador for a serious cause. What a lovely way to bring attention to conservation through a touch of whimsy
You seem to have been very good at sorting/labeling your photos, to be able to find them again... ;-)
What a fun collection of giraffes. I can't even decide which one I like the best.
this reminds me of way back when we first started our blogs, we had Fence Friday, I wonder how many pictures I have of fences. love your collection and giraffes are so amazing and beautiful
I didn't know it was world giraffe day! You got some cute ones!
Giraffes are truly a magnificent creature God created.
I LOVE Giraffes! Whenever I visit the Zoo, I must see the Giraffes. These are cute giraffe items, GInny. The one standing in front of the toy store is delightful. The pink one is darling. And the poem is sweet.
Have a peaceful Sunday and good week ahead.

I do so love giraffes and feel so privileged to have seen them in the wild of Kenya. Such wonderful memories.
