This is the first year that I have heard the word 'Summerween". It is a playful blend of summer vibes and Halloween thrills. It’s for people who love Halloween so much that they cannot wait any longer. It's the best of both worlds. thanks, but not for me.
The stores are now full of Summerween things, most of which are pink. This quirky trend is catching on, giving Halloween enthusiasts an extra reason to celebrate and decorate months in advance.

Flip-flops clack on haunted ground,
Ghosts wear shades
and dance around.
Pumpkins grin in
beachy hues,
Summerween brews warm, weird news.

Nope, no summerween for me. It's just another excuse to rush a holiday. The pink cats are cute but beyond that they can keep all the rest. I actually don't even do much decorating for Halloween anymore. If I do though, I like to stick to the traditional colors.
I heard it for the first time this year too. I'm not a halloween fan either and think the season is already too long! :)
Oh my word, I'd never heard of such a thing! I wonder if our stores have it too? I did go into Dollar Tree the other day & saw that they were setting out their halloween stuff already but it was just the regular orange & black things. Just the other day I saw Walmart selling watermelon jack-o’-lanterns. And all the summerween merchandise. I hadn’t heard of it before but it’s big apparently.
Cute stuff but don't people have better stuff to spend their money on?
I so so much of this stuff at Home Goods and was so surprised to see it in Pink. There were a lot of people buying it though.. Not really my thing but happy for those who enjoy it.
