This evening the sky had a rosy glow at the horizon as the sun set.
There was a half moon, and the Chimney Swifts were swirling around it scooping up flying insects.
“The sky blushed rose
at close of day,
A quiet flame that slipped away.”
“Chimney swifts
stitch the sky with invisible thread—never landing, always weaving the wind
into motion.”

Beautiful photos, Ginny. The poem and quote are lovely.
The mood is just so good! Love the shy purple
Another gorgeous sunset. Interesting how the Chimney Swifts fly around scooping up insects
Nothing more beautiful than nature. Beautiful photos-
I like the quote about invisible stitiches, almost as beautiful as this sunset. I tend to like the darker ones best, but they are all stunning works of art by God and Ginny
What a gorgeous sunset!

You get the most wonderful photos, Ginny. Blessings!

Oh what a beautiful sight to see the rolling colors in these pictures. Wonderful Ginny.
Lovely photo - you taught me something - I did not know those were Chumney Swells and I did not know they were scooping up bugs.
