Sunday Sunset - A Bit Of Drama

 The sunset was really pretty.

But it was not my main point of interest this evening. The kids from across the street were playing in the gazebo.

When mom called them all in at sunset, they were not happy. This one lagged way behind.

Finally on the porch, they protested loudly.

As you can see, mom was getting more and more aggravated.

See the little girl peeking out from behind the door? I think she was trying to slip back out, but decided against it!

And so it goes at a Sunday Sunset on a school night...

“At twilight, the sky whispers bedtime, but children hear adventure—chasing shadows, fireflies, and every last golden minute before the stars take over.”

Please don’t post photos of people without their permission, especially children. Rita

I sympathize with both the mom and the kids. Playing is more fun than going to school. :)

That is a pretty sunset. I do sympathize with the mom. I so remember those days of trying to get the kids to come in the house. My favorite argument was trying to convince them that spending the day in the pool did not qualify as already having a bath.
