I thought I would post some of the more interesting or different Christmas decorations around the neighborhood. This one is a row of lollypops.
I'm not sure what they were trying to do here!

Ginny, these are amazing 👏
Wow! As usual your neighborhood is outdoing the rest of us. I really like the purple tree.
Thanks very much Ginny, I always love to see the decorations around your neighborhood and they are beautiful at night especially.
Your neighborhood is amazing!
I love seeing the Christmas lights. I have seen some houses on my way home from work that look awesome. I'm always in too much of a hurry to get home to stop and take pictures though
Christmas lights are like jewelery.. love that and the house with when green on the roof looks like the decorator fell and left the lights where they were..
How cool are these lights!!! And your banner rocks!
I'm sorry for the confusion. I didn't make the black paint. That's Annie Sloan chalk paint and I made a DIY photography board. Then the background of the photos turned dark because of inverse square law, the rate at which light falls off. Sorry about the confusion.
I love lights and I think we should use them all year round. I guess though that if we did, then we wouldn't have the excitement of the lights at Christmas near as much. These are all so pretty. Wasn't sure about the green lights half way on the house...
Simply glorious, Ginny! I do love the lights at Christmas.
Lights are everywhere now. Pretty time of the year.
WOW .... it is pretty and wild at the same time. ;-)
That purple tree is dazzling! The Cross is beautiful. And the lollipops are sweet. Your neighborhood is really festive with the lit-up decorations, Ginny. It must look delightful going through at night.

Lots of "Jewelry" in your neighborhood. Pretty but not my style on the bright purple ones. They do add to the glitter of the season though.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Well, that was fun. We have nothing like those around here. So bright and pretty. There are some beautifully decorated yards between us and town but there are so many many houses using those big plastic blow-up decorations that I can't stand. For the most part they lay deflated on the ground all day. How pretty is that!! :)
I love the CROSS. Wonder what that green line means?
Love to see all the pretty lights.
Thanks Ginny for showing the holiday decorations which are always wonderful to see. To answer your question about the photos in my Friday Funnies post, yes I did take the photos over a period of time in various places.
Those oversized lollypops add a playful, sweet touch to the festive streetscape, turning the neighborhood into a whimsical holiday wonderland.
Such a helpful post! A ceiling light plays a huge role in shaping the mood of a room. The right lighting can make a space feel warm, bright, and so much more inviting. I loved the tips you shared — they really opened my eyes to how much good lighting can transform a home. Definitely inspired to try some new ceiling light styles now!
That purple/pink tree reminds me of redbud trees, one of the early-spring bloomers. I wonder if that's the homeowner's favorite tree. That's certainly my favorite photo! (I can't imagine how long it takes to install that many lights, though!)
Wow, what a festive neighborhood you have! I love that purple tree!
That tree decked in purple/pink lights looks spectacular.
