Sunday Sunset

This sunset is unusual. By the time I noticed the pink sky, it was too late to drive anywhere and snap it. So I stood by the back door. The tree you see is NOT a real tree. It is a reflection in the glass of a tree across the street.

“A tree reflected in a window is nature borrowing a moment to look back at itself.”

The image becomes quietly compelling once you realise the tree is only a reflection in the glass, turning an ordinary back door into a layered study of light, colour, and perception at sunset.

Surreal and beautiful! Yesterday I saw the sunset reflected in a window of the next building across the lawn, it looked like their apartment was on fire! (no photo)

The reflection of the tree in the glass makes for a very cool picture.

Those are neat sunset photos, Ginny. They look artistic with the reflection of the tree in the distance. Wishing you a good new year filled with many good things. I appreciate your blog friendship.

The Perch

Last summer, a tiny bird used our garden flag as a perch. And the flag actually has the picture of a bird on it. Making the perfect photo ...
