The forsythia are one of the first bushes to bloom in the summer. And this year's are beautiful. These are all quite close to us.
A last look back
A big ball
of sunshine sat on the side of the road
Forsythia
bloomed with happiness, it showed
Spring will
be here to stay one day soon
As the
flowers will dance to the bird's tune

It looks beautiful! We are seeing it too but I didn’t get any decent photos. Thanks for sharing yours :)
the poem is a perfect fit for these stunning blooms. they are awe inspiring, yellow, the color of JOY
They are pretty and sunshine on a stem is a perfect description for them. I noticed yesterday that at the very bottom of mine there are some yellow flowers but the rest just looks like bare stems. Then I noticed teeny tiny buds.
Hello, my dear friend! I love the poem. It matches the beautiful pictures. Which match your pretty background! You are so talented! I hope you have a cozy, happy day.
How I love seeing these bloom in the spring, Ginny. It is like a ball of sunshine!
I love yellow. :-)
They are so beautiful and full of cheer! Ours aren't blooming yet, but hopefully soon.
They are absolutely gorgeous and full of cheer, just like Mari commented! Lovely poem as well.
It does look like big balls of sunshine. I have always enjoyed forsythia and always look forward to it blooming in the Spring. At our other house (like 20 years ago) we had several forsythia bushes. I miss them.
Love the Sunshine yellow blossoms of Joy.

I adore these. Each year they make me smile and I always wish they lasted throughout the summer too. Happy Spring!!!!!
I love forsythia. Wish the blooms lasted longer. None blooming around here yet.
Your title is right on. I’m smiling from ear to ear. 😊
They look beautiful, and I'm wondering why I haven't seen any yet in my neck of the woods. Hope I didn't already miss them.
