Street Art
Every year our city has a "Street Art Festival". Artists paint murals on many buildings in town. And there are activities, tours, music groups, and markets. And it is this weekend! But one mural had to be started early, so here is a sneak peek!

You know with everything you post of your neighborhood, with decorations in their yards and painting their houses for each holiday, its not surprising your town has such expression of art. It sounds like you live exactly where you should live - with beautiful creative art in unusual places. Art truly can be everywhere
Ours is every second year, and I just read this morning that they've got started on one mural. And no doubt there will be more to explore this summer.

We have some new murals in downtown Irving but I haven't been there to see them yet! I need to go!
This wall mural is so pretty. I wonder when it will be finished. Love the colors, and it looks so springy. There are a few wall murals in my town, but this one is delightful, Ginny.
It's nice that many cities and town are starting to have wall art murals. Here, in Nashua, NH, we have a couple of new ones being painted in the recently renovated park near the mill apartments.
