We finally have some color!
Ah, yes, autumn, when
the trees blush at the thought of stripping naked in public.

Every evening the Canada Geese fly overhead with loud encouraging honks.
This is what they fly toward. And who wouln't want to?
And now that all my
beard is white...
The little things remain most bright.
The lonely autumn cry of geese
Which slowly flew across our town,
The turning of the leaves to brown
As frost arrives and brings life peace.

I got some more house plants. As the older ones are doing well, I got encouraged!
This one is a Pixie Arrowhead, because it stays very small.
This purpl one is called an Oyster Plant.
This is a type of Wandering Jew, and has the same purple color as the Oyster Plant.
Believe it or not, this is a tiny Philodendron, a variety called Prince Of Orange.
The plant on the left is called a Lifesaver succulent, because it's blooms look like big Lifesavers candy.
And both of my chinese Evergreens are really growing.
If you are a
gardener, you can always put "Plant Manager" on your résumé.

I saw this in Target a few days ago. It is a Christmas tree ornament. I have really never seen anything like this little polar bear in a wheelchair. Any thoughts?
"My disability exists
not because I use a wheelchair, but because the broader environment isn't
accessible."
Aldi is selling chocolate wine now. Don't believe me? Here is a picture from their sale flyer that I copied. "Chocolate Meets Wine", it says.
So I went there today to snap it. They had a ton of wine! Three times more than this section.Wine is how classy
people get wasted.

About a week ago, we were in a shopping center parking lot when I spied these flowers. There were many of these bushes all over the parking lot, and some were still in bloom! And lots of fall colored berries on them, too. But I don't have the foggiest idea what they are! Does anyone know?
The dry leaves are scattered beneath the naked bush... Where chaunted the linnet and warbled the thrush... How
sad is the change!…
We live about a half hour from Charlottesville. We go there for many of our doctors, and sometimes to shop. Today was a beautiful day, so we went. Here is our journey over Afton Mountain and back.
No one realizes how
beautiful it is to travel until he comes home and rests his head on his old,
familiar pillow.

The first pumpkin stand of the season is open! This one is my favorite because of the wall of pumpkins. It's in a really pretty locatio...
