The Trip To Charlottesville

We live about a half hour from Charlottesville. We go there for many of our doctors, and sometimes to shop. Today was a beautiful day, so we went. Here is our journey over Afton Mountain and back.

No one realizes how beautiful it is to travel until he comes home and rests his head on his old, familiar pillow.

Looks like autumn is in full swing there. Very pretty. What a scenic drive you have to get to Charlottesville.

Oh, the Fall colors around this area are beautiful. Look at those trees! Ginny, I have another blog friend from Virginia, and she just did a post about the country drive she went on. You might know of the area she talks about. She's on my side bar, The Joy of Home with Martha Ellen.

You live in a small city with a big city nearby. It is a gorgeous drive. However, I agree, there is no place like home.

Outstanding Fall adventure. I've been there, done that and it's just stunning in any season.
