Nothing Is Hidden From It's Heat

Sunset June 10, 2011

"In the heavens he has pitched a tent for the sun,
which is like a bridegroom coming forth from his pavillion,
like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
It rises at one end of the heavens
and makes it's circuit to the other;
nothing is hidden from it's heat."
Psalm 19:5,6

Glorious sunset, you captured it beautifully Ginny. Speaking of hiding from the heat, I hope it's not too terribly hot over your way.

PS, there is one almost complete heart in my header. It's on the right side in the petals.

this is a really good sequence shot of the sun going down, i can feel the heat in the header and the first two, then it gets cooler and darker. and so true, we can not hide from the heat of it, even in our homes with AC on, it is out there beating on the house and causing us to spend lots of money beating the heat

Now if we could just harness this heat for our winters when we really need it! What great photos of this awesome light God has put in the sky to rule the day! The heat just comes off the pics it seems!

Perfect photos to accompany the Psalmist's powerful word picture!

Ginny, in your response to your comment on my blog: I do think that all children are creative, but they need to be encouraged and given opportunities to express their creativity. I know you do that for your beautiful little granddaughter! She seems to be brimming with imagination and creativity!

Love your splendid sunset photos!! And the verse!

We're reeling in this heat here. I try to finish my chores as fast as I can and run where the AC is. Because of the rains, I don't have to water twice a day!:)
