"It came without
ribbons! It came without tags! It came without packages, boxes or
bags!"... Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't
before! "Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't
come from a store. Maybe Christmas... perhaps... means a little bit
more!"
~Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole
Christmas!
I have finally found a way to keep all my ribbons organized, and can find what I want with just a glance!!! I had to save the last picture for the wow factor. Yes, it is just a simple pants hanger!!! I got this idea from my friend Sandie at her blog Chatty Crone.
She always has great tips and fun things over at her blog!
“We look at this Son and see God’s
original purpose in everything created. For everything, absolutely everything,
above and below, visible and invisible, rank after rank after rank of angels—everything
got started in him and finds its purpose in him. He was there before any of it
came into existence and holds it all together right up to this moment. And when
it comes to the church, he organizes
and holds it together, like a head does a body.”
Colossians 1

Love the colours, and they are beautifully organized.
I saw that on Chatty's blog... Great idea for organizing ribbons... Love all of the colors and ribbons in your post today, Ginny.
Hugs,
Betsy
Great idea from Sandy, Ginny. I'm going to go take a peek.
That is a wonderful idea for organizing the ribbons and it's pretty too. I think they are all wow shots.
I love that quote from Dr. Seuss.
That looks great and very organised. Have a great day!
I love Chatty's blog too.... and I love Chatty. She's such a dear.
As are you, Ginny! Thank you for sharing today. Such pretty pretty colors to light up a drab time of year.
Come spring!
Blessings--Andrea
XOXOXO
What a great colourful collection of ribbons - and a great idea for storing them. I've never seen that kind of hanger around here, though.
What a great idea! Mine are piled in a drawer and I lose "contact" with them from time to time.
Best,
Bonnie
Oh, that is a great idea!
I am laughing my head off sister mine, because once in a while we find something we don't share. the only ribbon in my house is one roll, you know the kind for Christmas that you can use scissors to curl it... and it is buried in the bottom of a bag in the closet and has not been out in 7 years.....now i want to know why do you have this much ribbon, is it for crafts or just wrapping presents. it is a clever way to keep it organized.
I love all your pretty colorful ribbons. This is a great idea. But, I don't have a lot of closet space so I keep my ribbons in one of those clear plastic totes that slide under the bed!
What a great idea! Now you're all set!! I love all the colors. It takes me back to about 20 years ago when I started making 'picture pillows' and would spend hours on end in the fabric store choosing fabric and ribbon. I enjoyed that! Hope your staying warm on this blustery Wednesday!
Very, very cool, both the ribbon idea and the Scripture!
Not only is this a great organizational but it looks very decorative as well.
So much pretty color here!
The job is very much part time - 10 hours a week - I would do this while the twins were in preschool in the mornings. It'd be doing some case work with folks who have mental health issues.
Now that is really creative. What a wonderful way to store the tanglies for future use. I'm lovin' this idea. I hope all is well. Have a great day. Blessings...Mary
and now the creative work will start. What are you going to make first?
Greetings,
Filip
What a great idea....love all your ribbons and the matching back ground you have...so cool :)
That's a great way to organize ribbons. I'm impressed.
I saw this idea on Sandie's blog and thought it was a great one. I haven't gotten to the dollar store yet to buy one of those though. Wish I had one of those hangers in my closet.
I saw this on Chattys blog too...oh we bloggers all get wonderful tips from each other don't we?!
Always good to find an idea that works best for you! I love when things are neatly organized, and easily used without disrupting everything else. So pretty to look at as well!
I stopped using paper and ribbons for gift giving, when the beautiful gift bags became available. They are neatly tucked into the corner of my closet, smaller bags all in a larger bag, and easily accessible.
YOU DID IT - how come yours looks prettier than mine? And where did you get your hangar? Great job!
