In One Side And Out The Other

“A pessimist sees only the dark side of the clouds, and mopes; a philosopher sees both sides, and shrugs; an optimist doesn't see the clouds at all - he's walking on them.”
 ~Leonard Louis Levinson

I took these pictures earlier this month and watched as the sun was setting and went down into a cloud and out the bottom.

“By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night.”
Exodus 13

So pretty. We had a gorgeous sunset last evening as I was driving home from Walmart. Of course I didn't have the camera with me. :)

Wonderful captures of the sun. It has been a while since I have been anywhere to watch the sun go down...

I think that cloud looks very smug in the first photos, swallowing that ball of fire... Not able to keep it though!

watching the sky is amazing, we do it a lot, watch the sun go behind and out the puffy white clouds into the blue blue sky. don't see this because we are never out side at this time of day. it is awesome.

What beautiful golden sky and interesting cloud! When I was a kid, I used to love watching clouds. It was fun to find clouds in animal shape and so on :-)

Taking the time to watch this sight come into play was wonderful. So glad you did and shared with us. That is a pink cactus and my great grandson got himself a blue one. Blue is his favorite color. Not sure how they got to be in color.

Do you get to see the sun set from your inside your home? I always wonder how people capture photos. Out house has trees all around. I would have to go out somewhere to take those beautiful pictures.

And I loved that quote.

And let's see -your two cats - so pretty - how are your allergies?
