Awhile back, I started having very bad nosebleeds, and began to feel afraid to be alone for fear that I might bleed to death before someone came. Not that I was GREEN with fear, but it was a concern.
So after waiting several weeks for an appointment with a specialist, today was finally the day. It was at a large teaching hospital with a very good E.N.T doctor. He told me that I had an aneurysm in my nose and would need it cauterized. BUT he let his resident do it for practice. It was NOT fun. First it felt like I had two giant noses, then many noses, all with a lit charcoal briquet in them. Afterwards Phil told me that the doctor who did it was CROSS EYED!!! He could have told me sooner! So this is why I will be taking a day or two off from blogging, until I feel more normal. See you soon!

Oh My Goodness.... I'm so sorry. Hope you feel better soon. BUT--I'm glad you got your bleeding problem fixed (I hope)....
IF you feel like it, check out my blog tomorrow. It's a cute bird blog. I'm taking next week off to work on my Family History...
Hugs,
Betsy
I can certainly understand why you need to take a couple of days off from blogging. I hope the procedure solves the problem. Take care.
Oh dear! Glad that procedure is behind you and healing is fast. Love the humor in the whole thing--it's the best medicine.
Best,
Bonnie
what a story... I am so glad they finally figured out why you have been having nose bleeds and i am now wondering just why it took months to figure this out... i have no confidence in doctors these days... love all the wonderfully weird shots of your nose...
wow, thats amazing, great photos! Take care of that nose!
Ooooh that would be a very sensitive place to get worked on....take care
Oooh, I know just how you feel, though at least my doctor wasn't cross eyed! Rest and enjoy your break. I'll be looking forward to your beautiful photos!
I can still remember a horrific nose procedure at a young age in the clinic of a doctor who was not adept at minimizing pain or terror for this patient. This comes with my sympathies and prayers.
So sorry to hear this, Ginny. Take care of yourself and you are always welcome at my blog, as you know! Sending you a hug.
Hi Ginny, I know the feeling as I have had that done before a long time ago. Take it easy. I'll be praying for your nose to heal and for you to feel great soon.
Feel better soon!!

Hi Ginny Have a good rest away from blogging and get better. Have a restful weekend.
I sure hope you feel better soon.
Glad you're all better now. :) It seems to take a while sometimes for the doctors to figure out things. :)
Have a nice weekend!
Owwwwie...I am glad you did not know the doctor was cross eyed till after you had the procedure. LOL I hope you will find relief soon.
Well I'm glad you finally got in to find out what the problem was. Hearing that he's going to let a resident do the procedure for practice would have set me off....lol
The whole things doesn't sound like fun and I say you deserve a few days off to rest and recuperate
Oh Ginny, that sounds like a horrible experience. And a cross-eyed resident? Even worse. Well at least now you know what the problem was. Get some rest, see you when you're feeling better.
I'm so sorry that this was such a painful procedure, but I know you are glad it's done and over with! I pray that this is the end of your nose bleeds because I know that was such a worry. Hope you feel better soon!
I've been behind on my blog reading. Hope to get caught up soon. Take care and enjoy your weekend!
Oh my...
YOU get better. Blogging can wait dear one. Health and a peace of mind will be all that matters for the moment.
Oh you poor thing. I hope you will be feeling better soon and that the procedure will turn out to have been a success.
Extreme effects with the pictures. Hope your nose bleed problems stay away. Kristel had a period when she had real problems with nose bleedings, she had to go to hostipal several times.
Greetings,
Filip
Girl I hope you are feeling much much better. I am sorry for what they had to do, but it should be better for you.
You tell the doctor next time - you do no want an intern to do it - you want him to do it. It is your right.
Love and hugs,
sandie
Oh Ginny, that's awful. Where is it located in your nose? More to the back or front?
Yikes that sounds like it hurts, but I have to admit if I had noticed a cross eyed intern coming at me to burn me...I think there would have been a "Joanne" shaped hole in their door...I would have been outta there! You are one brave lady! Feel better Ginny and rest!
Blessings, Joanne
I hope you are feeling better. It sounds terribly painful.
That sounds so painful but your pictures are so funny. You're very brave to let someone "practice" on you. I'll be praying that you feel much better soon!
Oh wow Ginny....This took me by surprise....What a ton of fun you must have had!! I love personality!!
Shug
Lol..sorry can't help laughing at the photos
Hope u are better now.
That sounds painful just hearing about it. Hope you feel better soon.
Owwwwwww. When I was in high school I had a scope of my sinuses and it hurt so bad I shoved the doctor off me! I can't imagine having something up there cauterized!
Great pics to go with your nose story...
Bless your heart Ginny! I hope you are on the mend!
