Mother's Day

Mother's Day was so nice! Our son came over.
And look what he brought me! A little flag to put in our yard! I have always wanted one, but never mentioned it to him! And it is a beautiful peacock.
As he was leaving, I insisted that we do a selfie!

Later that evening, Phil and I went outside to decide where to plant the flag!
And that was not ALL that happened either! Something beautiful happened later in the evening...but I will save that for my next post!

A mother is a person who seeing there are only four pieces of pie for five people, promptly announces she never did care for pie. ~Tenneva Jordan

“Her children respect and bless her; her husband joins in with words of praise: “Many women have done wonderful things, but you’ve outclassed them all!” Charm can mislead and beauty soon fades. The woman to be admired and praised is the woman who lives in the Fear-of-God. Give her everything she deserves!”
Proverbs 31

Love your peacock flag. You son is thoughtful. My daughter sent me roses in a box. They are still looking very fresh. The vase came to with bubble wrap. It is amazing what they can do these days.
