Saturday Update
Phil and I just got home from the hospital. He is still pretty sick. He has lots of imitations, and is taking lots of meds. He should be back to normal in six weeks to two months. I will see how things go here, and may start blogging soon! But for now, Phil still needs a good bit of care. Thanks you all so much for prayers, good thoughts, and your wonderful comments!!

Thank you, Ginny, for this update. I will continue to pray for both of you. Wish I were closer to lend you both a hand. Love, Mildred
Glad at least you are home. Sounds like a long healing process, so you mus take care of yourself. You cannot afford to get down too. Trust things take a turn for the better soon.
As you take care of Phil, remember to take equally good care of Ginny as well.
Dear Ginny, you both are still in my prayers. I miss you. Thank you so much for the update, my cherished friend. Hugs.
Prayers for both of you, Ginny... May God Bless You.
Love you and please keep in touch.

Still sending prayers and healing thoughts to Phil and his dear caregiver!!
Best,
Bonnie
I know you are busy taking care of Phil, so remember to care for yourself too. Sometimes caregivers get tuckered out.
I am only today (Sunday) getting caught up with some posts as I have been away on Tory Island and in fact am still away in Donegal so have not seen any posts until now so I am flabergasted at your news about Phil. At least he seems to have got the best care but YOU need to be sensible and take care of yourelf as Phil will need you over the comming weeks. Forget about blogging until things ease off a bit. I will keep you BOTH in my prayers.
It is good to hear that both Phil and you are home now. Have a good rest and may God watches over you both and grant Phil complete recovery. Will be keeping you both in prayer.
will pray for him and for your health to hold up under additional stress of caring for Phil.... thanks for the update...
I'm glad Phil is home. I hope he makes quick recovery and with your care, I'm sure he will! But please don't forget to take good care of yourself, too. You and Phil are in my thoughts and prayers...Tamago
Oh my gosh Ginny....
I do hope the surgery 'fixed' Phil completely for a full recovery. How scary.
And I hope, now that I read your previous post, you will be able to get some much needed rest/sleep for yourself too.
My heart and prayers are with you both.
Thanks for the update. Keep focus on what is good for both of you. Hope you'll get the help you need from family & friends as well. ♥
Geez Ginny, I haven't been reading my blogs as I have been so busy in the yard I fall asleep at the drop of a hat when I finally settle down. I had no idea. You both are in my prayers. Please take care of yourselves. Love to you both and get well quickly. Hugs, LJ
Thank God he is okay and home - now go take care of Phil and don't worry my friend.
So glad you are home, That must mean he is feeling some better.
Wow Ginny, what a time it's been for you! So sorry Phil had to go through all this but so glad he's home. Take care of yourself too, sounds like you both need lots of rest and recovery. I will be praying for both of you.
