beautiful pond and heron and I like both of those reflection shots.. now enquiring minds want to know what a fountain pond is and where it is. I am seeing in my mind a giant pond with a spraying fountain in the middle and statues all around it...

I'm glad you saw him, he's a beauty! Our blue heron has returned to the pond out back. I hadn't seen him for quite a while, but he is flying in every now and then. I think maybe our feral cats which roam around the pond is limiting his visits.
They are a beautiful and impressive bird.
