Star Gazing

The Stargazer lilies are blooming now. I just found them today!

See the spots toward the center of this flower? They aren't just spots, they actually stick up!

“The skies were made by God’s command; he breathed the word and the stars popped out.”

Psalm 33

Wow! Gorgeous lilies! I love to use them for flower arrangements. In answer to your question about "kebaya" - Kebaya is a traditional blouse dress worn by woman in Indonesian, Malaysian, Burma, Thailand and some part of Cambodia made from sheer material and usually worn with a sarong, batik or other traditional clothing such a songket with a colorful motif. Have a beautiful day!

Wow, those are gorgeous.
Oh and by the way the dog in my post yesterday isn't actually made of cabbage. It's a resin figurine but it sure looks like cabbage :)

The deer made a meal of our Stargazwer lilies this year, so I doubly appreciate these that you've shown.
